Lost all acceleration yesterday while driving at highway speed. Tire pressure light came on also large warning sigh and check engine . Had been stuck in bumper to bumper traffic before this with AC on.Gas pedal to the floor but no acceleration. I pullled over and shut off car. When I tried to restert the lights mentioned above went out Except the check engine, NOW all the brake warning lights are on in a yellow color including the emergency brake.Brakes do stop the car (had to push it onto the tow truck) Car comes on but does not display the READY sign.Any suggestions

There is an extended warranty on the brake actuator issue, you might want to take it in to Toyota to diagnose this one. Could be a free repair.

If there are other issues, I'm sure they'll be happy to quote you on fixing them at the same time

Thanks for the advice. My prius is a 2007 with only 60,000 miles. Do you suggest a dealer(my local toyota service dealer has a bad reputation) or a shop that fixes Prius for the city fleets etc? Thanks

Warranty repair is only going to happen at a Toyota Dealer, I am astounded that there is only one Toyota Dealer in New York City.

Thanks for the reply. I live on Staten Island and yes there is only 1 toyota dealer. I know that sounds crazy...but true. The thing is I have to have it towed (engine light also on, car will not move) trying to have it towed only once.

how far to the next dealer? you really have to find out if it's warranty before proceeding, unfortunately.
