Still gripe though. Also where is the soup and nuts? Lunch time.

Side note to the outstanding video: Seems the low RR tires that come on the Prius as OEMs (MIJ)s have a pretty even wear pattern at 42PSI. Suspect tire design and weight of car may be a factor (car may be over tired/LOL). TBD. Also lower pressures (36PSI) seem to wear a tire out quicker. 51 PSI was too much for me in Honda Hybrids as the tires would skip when hitting a bump. Since 2002 I have not worn the center of a tire out on a Hybrid OEM tire. Did do that on conventional vehicles years ago with non Low RR tires.

Completely baffled why this has happened. It may be wearing a little more in the center but I was never able to see it or crude measure it.
    Defies logic/maybe.

Did notice that non MIJ GY Fuel Max tires on a Dodge Caravan do not wear as well as the MIJ OEMs on the Prius. Even have a bubble on a side wall starting to grow. QA in other than MIJ factories is suspect as always.

This is the last set of GYs and Michelins for me at SAMS since I have had repeated poor results. May try Bridgestone or Pirelli at SAMS the next time for the Caravan.

Seems tire rack is the only sure thing and look for MIJ.

Video was saying about 4% MPG Loss going from say 35 to 20 psi.
So let's say from 50 MPG down to 48 MPG.

But the curve flattens out so going up in pressure from 35 to 50 psia would probably be more like 50 to 51 MPG. I've shown some similar calcs previously.
