Has anyone ever deleted your Entune account at the Toyota Entune web site? When I click the Delete button, the following popup text appears:
    ****
    Delete Account
Your account will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. If this is a primary user account, all secondary users associated with this account will also be deleted.

Are you sure you want to delete your account?
    ****
I can't believe the account will be "gone forever."

I want to get rid of the icons on my Audio Source list (iHeart, Pandora, etc) so I don't have to cycle through them each time I use the steering wheel Mode button.

......but I may someday want to re-enable my Entune account. I can't find any info on this on the internet. Next step is to call Toyota...but first, anyone out there tried this already?

    Thanks

I doubt deleting this account will get rid of the things in the car, since you are not connecting Entune with the car right?

I removed Entune from the phone but I figure the console must communicate with the web site (via HD?) to know I have an account. That's when the icons appeared, when I created the web account. So if I delete the web account, will the icons go away...and if I delete the account, can I NEVER get it back.

    Trying to call Toyota...

Does it say anything about not being able to re-create a new account in the future? If not, you probably can use the same username; otherwise it wasn't truly deleted forever.

When I spoke with the Toyota "help" guy he said I could probably create a new account but would need to use a different email address login. But he didn't sound sure on that.

I was trying to remove the Entune icons (iHeart, Pandora, etc.) from my car console and thought I had to delete my web Entune account to do that. I found that just using the Delete Personal Data button on the console, and not re-connecting to the Entune phone app, did the trick. (Downside is I had to re-enter my address book and the like). At least now the steering wheel Mode button doesn't cycle through Audio Sources I don't use. Toyota needs to allow ONLY iHeart (or your choice) to display in the Audio sources icons if that's only what's selected in the Entune web site. Toyota helper says it's not an option.

You need etune for the WX app to be 100%. In the sub menus there is a setting for HD+etune/cell phone.

Mine uses very little data as I update the software on my local wifi. Just don't play music if your account is limited.

All that stuff is there on mine but I don't use Pandora's box etc.
