Master Warning Light no other lights or codes

    I have an 06 prius and have the Master Warning Light on periodically. I say periodically since it varies. Some mornings when it is cool and damp it is off, but when the car warms up it comes on. I have racked up 300K of mileage and have seen the posts for the big battery going bad. No othere lights and codes appartent.

    Is my light on for the battery?

    Check the engine oil level.

    Oil level is topped up from recent oil change. And do see some oil loss between changes.

    I have been doing my oil changes for a while now so yes I know the oil level.
    JC: I have seen what happens when the oil goes low due to the burn off issue.

    The light also blanks the screen, i can clear the screen, but when braking to a stop it blanks out again.
