Backing up/Restoring Map SD Card (2015 Nav.)

    Newbie here, but I RTFM'd and searched the forum first.

    Has anyone successfully backed up the map SD card (16GB micro SDHC class 4) and restored it to a new card? I tried and failed using Windows 7; the card has 11+ GB in over 30K files. Nav. showed "Can't read map card" message. (This is on a new 2015 Prius V Five.)

    Note: I'm not looking to pirate (buy, sell, trade) cards; only to back up. Maybe to hack for my own personal interests.

    Where is that SD card located in the Prius? I have a 2012, and I have not find anything that looks like an SD slot for the nav system. And as far as I do understand, it is not the DVD or HDD version I have either.

    In my 2015 it's under a little door in the trim around the nav. unit. It's my understanding that units in some earlier year models did not have SD cards.

    i think ours is a flash through the usb, and older had a dvd under the seat.
