Receiving 5 codes. Help!

    While driving to work I received the red triangle of death and multiple other icons on my dashboard. After a few minutes my AC sputtered off. After a few minutes it came back on. This occurred off and on the duration of my drive. I pulled the codes and had P0A93, P3193, C1241, C1313, C1377 come up. The fluid in the pump for the inverter is not moving when the vehicle is turned on.

    If anyone could drop some knowledge I would truly appreciate it!!

    Start with replacing the coolant pump and check your 12V battery--how old is it? Many of the codes refer to the braking system, and I think low 12V may be the cause of some of them.

    How many miles on the car?

    I apologize. I meant to state it's a 2007 Prius with 92,000 miles on it. I checked the battery that's on the passenger side in the trunk and it was reading perfect.

    Your 12V is charged by the hybrid inverter. I suppose if your inverter shut down due to overtemp, you might have gotten low 12V causing the other codes.

    What voltage did you see at the 12V when you checked it? Perfect would be 13.0 or above. If the "resting" voltage is down around nominal (12), that's not too good for the Prius. It should be 12.6 or so. How old is that battery, if known? If it's close to 5 years, and if it was stressed by your last drive, it may be a good idea to replace it anyway.

    It was 12.7 I believe. It was definitely a good battery. I'm ordering the pump now and seeing where that takes me. Is it possible it could be electrical at all? And if so should I check that first?

    I just had the same symptoms on my 2008 Prius. Changed inverter coolant pump myself. Life is good again! Wish I could say the same for the 03 Prius with the dead hybrid battery.

    Thanks Andrew and Allen. Ive replaced the pump and now I'm trying to bleed the air from the lines. I have no clue if it's working since I've never done it. Seems like my engine is making an abnormal noise now. That normal?

    How are you bleeding the system? Proper technique requires running the CHRS pump and using the upper radiator bleed valve. Or using a pressure bleeding system. If you don't do that, you'll get nasty cavitation (noise) in the CHRS at cold startup and shutdown, and gurgling in the heater coil under the dash. Don't drive the car until the pumps are quiet and the coolant level is full and stable.

    I'm not sure if the inverter coolant goes through the CHRS pump. Assuming he didn't drain the radiator and just changed the inverter pump

    You're right of course, my mistake. Ignore my post.

    It should be simple to bleed the air with the right bleeder valve, and should only take a few minutes.

    It's time to pull codes again, see what's changed if anything.
