2006 Toyota Prius replacing active brake solenoid and want to release the air

    As stated, we are preparing to replace to the active brake solenoid.
    My father mentioned that we need to release some air, how can this be done? Thanks!

    You do mean brake actuator assy? You really need Techstream (you can get that cheap as Mini-VCI but it requires Win XP laptop). And Toyota service manual is almost must as well but you can get cheap description for that (or you can probably get some version for free).

    You need Techstream just to bleed air out of the brake system. Don’t try to bleed the brakes old way! You can create bad problems trying that.
