no reflection on anyone but themselves. still an embarrassment to the country though. yes, we need all the video for final judgement. but it's obvious lochte's first story is full of holes.

okay, i just saw the video on can. very strange, but no malicious intent. they peed in an alley and knocked over a $2. sign. they lochte orchestrated this crazy cover up of nothing, being the high maintenance prima donna that he is.
    is there more to come?
i had a friend who peed in a bush in mexico and spent the night in jail. probably lucky that's all that happened.
unless more misdeeds come to light, as always the lies were worse than the actions.

DPRK, US and Russian teams were most efficient in terms of medals per team member. New Zealand and Jamaica in terms of medals per country population. And in that, no others were even close.

I just know in watching the wrestling they were putting their heads in places you wouldn't want to, given some of the hygiene habits that are often exhibited.

I watched the bronze medal match in men's volleyball today. Interesting to see a 40 something playing men's volleyball. And he played all 5 sets!

    Just so.

I still don't know if that opening-ceremony airplane was real or CGI.

I wish I could believe it. but realistically, one does not 'take off' in a biplane and fly out of a crowded stadium.

Even Brazil must have something like an FAA that would put sanity over such a plan. Oh there I am waying bad about Brazil. Their commercial aviation is just fine. Embraier makes fine planes.
