No problem! Just wanted to be sure you didn't think it was going into the air or someplace else it shouldn't be.

Turtle Wax "Ice" review: One Week

Something weird is going on. A good weird. My car is not getting as dirty. And like I mentioned earlier, there are no more gnats or little flies camping out on my car. :) Just a coincidence?

The dust & dirt doesn't *seem* to stick to the white paint as much, as it was with the Meguiar's wax. It is still bone dry here, and always dusty... I'm not saying my car is completely clean and dust-free, but it's definitely less dirty , a week after washing.

Time will tell, after I wash/wax a couple more times with the "Ice."

I will have to pick up a bottle of the ICE wax and try it out. Thanks for the heads up:cool:

Is it easy to apply and wipe off? Is it a spray on or a paste or liquid? Thanks..

Seems just as easy to apply/wipe off as any other liquid wax I've used. And it dries so quickly; no need to wait several minutes. It's very thin in the liquid version. And yes, I believe I saw it in a spray bottle, but not sure if that is the same product. (I've only used liquid wax mostly on my cars.)

I also tried the Ice on the inside... on the black shiny dashboard trim, and the white console/cup holders, and even on the Darth Vader big screen. And again, maybe just a coincidence, but the big black screen does not seem to be attracting as much dust.

(Maybe the "atmospherics" have changed in California. :ROFLMAO:)

And if anybody has some comments about their favorite wax, I'm all ears. I like to try different brands.
(My very first job as a kid, was working in a car wash. It must be in my blood...)

Kevin, you know how to remove/insert new wiper blades on our Gen4? (See the new thread.) Don't you just press a button, and the blades and the little arm come off?

I think the issue is that the inserts are not available yet, not that they don't know how to replace them...

The poster has the inserts. And nobody at his dealer knows how to change them.

I applied my 1st coat of Zaino CS Clear Seal on my 2016 a few weeks ago and it is holding up well. The brand gets great reviews, but many people apply multiple products from the line to get their final "shine". I read many comments online that just applying the Clear Seal gets you a very solid protection.

Yeah, I've seen various brands of "sealers" when I was shopping around. Never used one. Do you apply it right after the car has been waxed?

A lot of people that love this brand do it a LOT of different ways and in different combinations. From what I read, the sealer is so good, you can use it all by itself.

I washed the car, dried it really well and put the sealer on with the microfiber sponge pads they sell on the site. It is spendy, but it takes so very, very little to cover a Prius. This one bottle will probably get me 8-10 coats minimum.
