Do we have enough data yet to determine what tire is doing the best in ride, mpg on Prius Eco? I'm picking one up Monday evening, don't know what kind of tires it will have on it. We forgot to ask what color the console is on the Prius Eco. Our interior is moonstone. I'm guessing the console with be the dark color. I sure hope so, the white sort of stands out. I'm not under any obligations to buy. The dealer is having one brought over from another dealership, although the price, interest rate has been negotiated. I was sort of in a hurry when dealer called me back today so it didn't register to ask the tire name or color of console. If the car was not there then he wouldn't have know unless he called and ask. Maybe some of the other Prius Eco owners can chime in on color of console. All I've seen in pics is dark color and that is what we want.

I drove a Prius2 eco that had Toyo energy savers. That car had been sold so I was offered a Prius2 that was less money, had a spare tire and a rear wiper. It came with Toyo tires and after 175 miles it is up to 57 mpg. Moonstone interior is nice! Have been a Michelin user for years but am impressed with the Yokohamas on the 13 Camry and the Toyos ride well. Will have to wait for the snow test.

Tires I got on my Eco, rides good. Our Eco is 500 miles on tank of gas, is at 65.9 mpg, There is a you tube video on how to drive it for max mpg, think there is one on this forum also that is good. The car had 50 miles on it driven from another dealer and salesman filled it up when it came in.

as far as the console, it was black, salesman said it had a covering over original white, but you can't tell it.

I have used Nokian WR G3 on my Gen 2 for two years (four seasons). I liked the way this ALL Season rated tires handled in any weather, snow, slush, ice summer heat. I liked them so much that when I took delivery of my new Gen 4 I drove the car straight to my friendly tire shop and traded the OEM tires for Nokians. Unless you are in real "snow country" check out how these tires were rated by Consumer Reports. No need to have two sets of wheels and tires to buy, to store and swap twice a year. If you are driving a lot in snow (i.e. you are a skier) stick to a second set of winter tires from Michelin.
