I just purchased a 2013 Prius and was surprised to find that there are two glove boxes and a center console but none of these have the ability to securely lock items inside the car. Are there any aftermarket products that will allow 60 locking up either glove box or center console?

Not that I've seen. It's one of my complaints about the Prius, that was not resolved by the new generation either.

The "eco-plastic' used in the Prius is so soft that if you replaced the glovebox latch with a locking latch, a thief would just rip it right open.

For all the marketing hype about the bio-plastic in the interior, Gen 3 only used it in a very few places, like inside seat cushion material, the plastic scuff plates on the door sills, etc. Generally, the other plastic stuff in the car is typical stuff; the lower glove box door is stamped PP+E/P (polypropylene blended with ethylene/propylene), the trim around the radio is PC+ABS (blend of polycarbonate for strength with ABS for flexibility, etc.)

Even the door sill scuffs are still a blend; pull one up and it's stamped PP+PLA, blending the plant-based polylactic acid with some polypropylene. So whatever the marketers said, there's still plenty of old-school plastic in a Gen 3. Maybe Gen 4 has moved the eco-plastic bar further?

I agree it would be nice if they made any compartment you could lock in the car. I'd guess cost is why they didn't; even though it's old-school plastic and not any fancy eco-stuff, I'm sure it would need well-thought-out reinforcement to be effectively locked.

I had to buy a gun safe to bolt down under the passenger front seat for when I go places I can't carry my weapon.

If quick and dirty will do, use a bike lock to secure a locked metal box to one of the seat supports.
