I'd like some advice, please. I'm sure this has been discussed somewhere, but...

I have a Windows 8 netbook and/or a galaxy tab 3 7" available to permanently hook up to my 2010 Prius IV. Should I go with one of the ebay TIS modules or an ELM module, and should it be bluetooth connected, or rf wireless, or hard-wired? Other than Techstream, is there any recommended software? Or should I give up on this idea and just go with a Scangauge?

I would go with the netbook and a mini-VCI kit from eBay. Techstream gives you everything the dealer has.
