I found only one thread about this, but we're desperately in need of roof racks and a box for our Prius 4 Touring. Luckily this trip is just me and our 2 kids with 3 dogs, my husband will be away for work. I checked Thule and nothing. Nada! Someone please tell me there are racks and cargo boxes available for this model or will be before December.

I to will be looking for a roof rack, but haven't looked yet. But It sounds like your looking for ski box. Here's what I ended up doing on my CRV ski car. I was tired of the skis in the car so I researched a roof box. I had this this in mind when I bought the car. I got the roof rails and cross bars. So I just needed a box. After looking at all the real pricey boxes, I determined they don't fit well. With the standard mounting the rear of the box is hit with the tail gate open. Another option is a trailer hitch ski rack. I almost did this because I have a hitch. I was in Honda and saw they have those clam shell rack that go on the stock cross bars. They are great, made by Thule. I think $130. Half the width of the car and they hold 4 sets of skis. They go on in 5 minutes, and are on all winter. The boards and boots go in the trunk.

    Here's the crossbar part.

As for the actual box, Thule's website said it's under development (as of March 2016).

Yakima looks to suggest only soft-boxes (nylon) and not the hardcase plastic ones.

Hopefully either manufacture will come up with something concrete soon.

Try Rhinorack. They have a roof rack that is advertised to fit. I have not personally tried it.

Have you thought about adding a hitch and a rear cargo carrier?
The box-on-top will really kill your mileage!

My guess is those bars are pricey, as is any proprietary add on item. There marked up a lot. I got them added on to close the deal on my CRV
