    I'll go first. (n)
How did you game it to display that?
Did you drive <35 MPH everywhere for that length of time? That's a long time behind the wheel of very slow moving car.
It's not a Plug In, correct?

Correct. My 2012 Prius is not a plug-in.

I get 62 mpg on the expressway driving 54 mph (+ or - the wind speed) (Minimum posted speed is 50 mph).

I get 73 mpg on County roads with 45 mph speed limits. (pulse to 45 mph, then glide (with a sliver of electric power on the ECO bar - No Charging) to 37 mph (if no one is behind me), or to 33 mph (if no one is on the road at all behind me). If someone is behind me, pulse to 45 mph, then SHM (Super Highway Mode(?) to 43 mph (basically using minimum gas just before the EV light kicks on, which happens when you get the ECO bar to go back (and don't do it quickly) between the EV icon and the ECO icon. If someone is tailgating me, pulse to 47 mph , then SHM to 45 mph.

I get 90 mpg on Rural residential streets with 30 mph speed limits (pulse to 35 mph, then glide to 27 mph) Make the same adjustments as above if other drivers behind me.

I get 105 mpg on Subdivision streets with 20 mph speed limits (pulse to 25 mph, then glide to 17 mph) Same adjustments as above.

That's how I got over 73 mpg over the last (now) 10,000 miles of driving.

Glad you're not on 'the expressway' (whatever that is) near me.
Do you ever get honked at for your dangerous, penny pinching ways?(n)
Carry on. You're saving so much money you can buy lunch out!

Expressway is just another word for freeway, tollway, parkway, etc. The ones near me have 3 lanes each way, as long as I stay in the right lane where the big trucks are supposed to be. And even though the speed limit is 70 mph in my state, the minimum posted speed is 50 mph (and it's state law).

I guess those are regional terms.
I know 'Interstates' and some of those are 'Turnpikes'.

Good load,,,, 54 mph,, just to save a few pennies while you are creating a traffic hazard.
There are regional words for drivers like you.
Please don't get out on a busy rush hour 'Expressway'. Do you penny pinching at other less busy and dangerous times. We thank you..
Even us 'Old Farts' thank you for your cooperation!(y)

A bit presumptuous, perhaps? Assuming that everywhere else drives the same as you and your community do?

Different places have different standards. Not all places have the same degree of combat driving culture that you and numerous other folks are accustomed to.

You can't believe everything you read on the internet and especially on Priuschat. I can make my mpg look like 73 for a pic.

On another subject, I am seeing a few examples of double posting returning to the site. This time with different time stamps. The refresh and editing errors are also stronger.

Regarding the mpg survey, the typical octane used would be a metric to capture.

Are you saying the good people in your area are happy to have a 'frugal' slow poke going 54 MPH in the right lane during a rush hour commute? Are you in a major metro area?

I don't care if it's 2 or 3 lanes of an interstate, some penny pincher is disrupting the flow by P&G'ing his Prius,, at 54 MPH
while most people just want to get to work or home with the NORMAL flow of traffic.
Getting around this 'gentleman' would be a hassle, no?
That is not combative. That is normal decent road manners.
I, however, might give him a toot of the horn as I pass,,, you can call that Combative if you like, I call it Educational.

I just hope this Old Fart takes the wife out for dinner once a week with all the dollars he's saved by being a Traffic Obstacle.
But I doubt his penny pinching ways actually pays for that dinner.... Make that, Once a Month,,, but even then.... Cocktails?

Sorry for the double posting. I assumed my 1st post didn't go through because Priuschat usually lets me know right away that they got the message but waiting for clearance. But since I didn't get their message, I reposted it again later. Then I saw the two posts, and I couldn't delete one of them (sorry this is new to me).

As far as editing previous posts, I was just trying to make the layout of the post better (like block format).

As far as octane is concerned, I use 87 octane gas with 10% Ethanol.

As far as making "my mpg look like 73 for a picture", this is not some short 10-mile or 100-mile run. This is a 10,000-mile marathon during a 3-month period.

I do not pulse and glide on the freeway. I use cruise control set at 54 mph. If there is an overpass coming, I will moderately pulse to 57 mph just before the incline, then SHM at the top until back to 54. If it's a taller and longer bridge, I will pulse to 60 mph before incline.

    "a 10,000-mile [SLOW] marathon"
3.3k a month? Is this for a business?

    Just saw "Florida".
Carry on in the 'Blue Hair Lane'!
It's probably very acceptable in that state, more so than any other state.
Do you get other drivers not enjoying your 'pp ways', and letting you know? That would happen in my area.

That's awesome you get all the way up to 60MPH once in a while, for a moment !!! You wild man, you!!
