Yeah no guidelines on the Tech package either but at least it was on the 7" MFD.

Makes me really wish the new Land Cruiser that Australia is getting was coming to the US. Not that Toyota goes to those cost saving measures with it, but with no giant tablets for dashboards, and an interior that works like it came straight out of the 90's, I would take it any day over a Cybertruck. With Slate doing that AND offering all the customization they are, seems like a win-win for people wanting a budget BEV and anti-tech drivers alike.

FYI: If you want to keep it bare bones; it might be worth the look and wait. For me; I'd go with something more predictable and w/o range anxiety issues. 150 miles would be fine for a commuter, but you can get a gently preowned Chevy Bolt for less than 18K with better range and seats 5 - for the occasional lunch run. Don't know if the $4500 used EV credit is still around. That would drive the price below $14K

An electric pickup truck is not for us, but I like the Heat/Vent controls and cellphone holder. The crank windows, I'm on the fence.

The phone holder is cause there is no radio/infotainment unit. Built in speakers are an accessory.:p Crank windows depends on the width of the truck. I could open the passenger crank window the 2000 Ranger from the Driver's seat. If the ride is shared with another, I think power side mirrors are a must.

Like VW Bug, the original, little triangle windows on leading edge of doors?

Yeah, my friend has a really old Tacoma with those. You can flip them open on a center hinge.
