Nothing here is any different from the day you bought the car. The way you could have made your point would have been to not purchase the car.
The steering wheel did not come off. It moved to the right and did not allow the air bag to stop the drivers head and upper body.
The only time you should spend on this is the time it takes to get it to the dealer. These thing don't heal themselves.
It drives the one with the most resistance to movement. That is what limits spinning.
It is just a car. If you liked it, go to the dealer and find another one you like. If they don't have one that trips your trigger, have them find one...
Here is a picture of the little orange low fuel light. There was also a "ding" when it came on. Needed 10.006 gallons to fill the tank. [ATTACH]
The low fuel light does not come on at startup. I believe it looks like a little gas pump but, I haven't seen it in a long time so I could be wrong....
The v does have a low fuel indicator. It comes on when the range is down to about 10 miles. It is next to the fuel gage, the first bar.

No DRLs on a US "V". However, you can just turn the headlights on and forget them. They will take care of themselves.
It is trying to protect the fuel pump by not letting the fuel go too low. It is also trying to keep you from walking when you run out of gas.
If anyone suggests doing anything but what the manual suggests, they are opening themselves up for a lawsuit. Follow the manual.
Mine come on with it being relatively light out.
It would probably be much more cost effective to have it repaired. They usually do very good work. I think it is about $200.
