    1- it has over 350,000 miles 2- we add less than a quart of water/coolant 3-around 60-70 miles 4-we took it out to the dealer and they checked...

    thanx for all the replies.it was the combination meter indeed, got one off ebay with 16,000 miles on it for $170 shipped and put it in.solved...

    My Prius will not turn off!

    we had the same problem and ended up changing the combination meter.which is the instrument cluster up on the dashboard.

    60K Eng Valves Clearance Insp/Adj ????

    my company has 2 2006 priuses,one at 155,xxx the other 182,xxx. just did the oil changes for engine.they both run just fine.

    i have a 2006 prius ,it has 182,xxx on the clock.engine running like a champ.dont worry.do the maintanence on time.i dont see that engine going...
