I have an 05 Prius that I need to part with. I hate to let her go, but thought I would post here before putting it in the paper. She is an 05, white with 2110 miles. It is the top of the line model with the DVD Navigation, High Entensity headlamps, 6 CD Changer, Side Curtain Airbags, cargo net and mat, first aid kit, and several Toyota installed options. It got the Leather upgrade installed by Toyota and the exterior paint sealant, and the interior protection treatment. I've taken a new job with a substacial pay-cut. I bought the car to replace my VW Beetle, and I can't seem to get the Beetle to sell, so one of them has to go. Since I can't sell the Beetle, I've got to entertain the possibility of selling the Prius. On that note, anybody interested in an 03 Orange Beetle Convertible with the 1.8 turbo?? Seriously, you can probably sell it on Autotrader.com---or e-Bay---for what you paid for it (minus taxes).
True, I could sell it on Autotrader, and that is my next avenue if this doesn't develop any leads, but this forum has been such a great source for me, I wanted to list it here first. I know I could get more for it somewhere else, but that takes time and I'm totally pressed for time. However . . . parking it with the sign like you mentioned! Thanks, Todd
I live in Springfield, VA and sold my 05 #2 a week ago by placing an ad in the Wash Post. I paid MSRP, 22,560, had 10700 miles, sold for 21,500 but, received only 4 calls. The 3 day ad cost $40. I believe the demand for 05 has decreased due to 06's coming out and the tax cut. That's why I sold mine. I'm on a waiting list for a 06.
