2014 Mitsubishi Mirage to carry $12,995 price tag* - Autoblog

    From the press release
That's pretty impressive. The cheapest CVT version has an MSRP of $13,995 + destination charge..

That seems like a good MPG bang for the buck.

1.2 liter engine. Not sure of hp or 0-60 acceleration.

Telmo started a thread for this car a week or so back in the Mitsubihsi hybrid sub forum. The EPA numbers are impressive the city is equal to the 1.4L Sonic's highway. The Mirage will only be producing 80hp or so. The Sonic produces 138hp, and the turbo brings up the torque at a low rpm.

Judging the size from the photo, the Mirage seems to be more Spark sized. The Spark, smart fortwo, and iQ are the only non hybrids that come close is fuel economy. The smart can be had at around the same base price, but only two seats. The iQ has a higher price. The Mirage trounces the Versa sedan in fuel economy, but many are going to opt for a sedan with more space.
