My OEM 15" tires are about done and thinking of upgrading to 17". I'm pretty set on running the Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus in 205/50R17.

I was originally leaning towards XXR 530's which are 17"x7" but only come in 35mm offset. I got a little concerned about the tire rubbing due to the lower offset, especially if my car is lowered. Are my concerns warranted?

I have read that 45mm offset is about the sweet spot to be somewhat flush in the front without rubbing. So as an alternative wheel, I'm considering the Enkei PF01. It looks like it can be had in either a 7" or 7.5" width with a 45mm offset. Given the option, should I go 7" or 7.5" width?

Update, the PF01 doesn't come in 7" width, so no decision there.

Any thoughts on 35mm offset with 17x7" wheels and a moderate drop? Should I expect any rubbing? The only pictures I could find either were not lowered or were 18x8" wheels.
