    I just bought my 2002 toyota prius and i want to know why im getting this dash light every morning (See Pic) .
    its look like the over heat light.
    the level of the antifreeze is full.
    so there is something else i should do?

    Hi Zach,

    The blue icon in your photo means that the engine is cold and needs to warm up. As long as that light goes off after a few minutes, no worries.

    If you see a red icon that looks like the blue one, then this means the engine is overheating, and you need to stop and figure out why (or at least turn the car off if you can't figure it out.)

    Hi Yakuzahi,

    Exacly like Patrick said, Blue thermometer means that the engine is still cold and that the car has to be driven gently until normal operating temperature is reached. So in other words, when you have that icon in your dash board don't "floor" the gas pedal !

    If it's not red every thing is ok !
