Up for sale is a 2005 Toyota Prius, Seaside Blue Pearl, #3 Package
The #3 Package aka BI Package comes with the following
    -Driver/Passenger/Side Airbags with Curtains
    -Smart Key System(keyless entry/start)

48,xxx miles, all maintenance has been done according to schedule

Clean Tan Interior, have also been using a clear floor mat, thus the OEM carpet has been kept in good condition!

There is a couple of light scratch behind the driver side door as you can see in the pic, and very minor scratch on rear bumper (keep in mind, this is a USED car after all)

Wheels are in near mint condition, except one little ding on one of the wheel, Tires have about 30% thread life left

Breaks pad still have PLENTY of life left!

A/C blows COLD! works very well in the summer heat in SoCal

I average 55 MPG during the summer time, and 52 MPG in winter times, but NEVER got anything below 50 MPG

and most importantly it has the Carpool sticker(HOV) which expires in 2011, enjoy driving in the carpool lane by yourself and watch other stuck outside in traffic :p

Check out how much used Prii are going for now. And how long the waiting lists are for new.

Not unreasonable in L.A. A little high for San Diego.

The HOV stickers add $2,000-$4,000 to KBB.

You are crazy to pay that. Get one on the east coast and ship it. You can save $10k.

KBB lists this car in excellent condition with this mileage in SoCal at $21,210. Add $4k max to that price for HOV and you're still at $25,210. Still think it's not overpriced????

Just so you know that I'm not blowing smoke....This is from cars.com and this Prius is a package 6 with Navigation. Maybe not quite $10k savings, but $8500 is pretty close.

Yeah, unfortunately we're heading that direction.... if he's not in a hurry he'll probably get it. His price is almost exactly the same as my out the door price form my '08 package 6, 6 months ago.... and here you're getting a middle of the road version with 3 years and 50,000 miles. Ouch. ...but, the price is what the market is willing to pay.

Sure hope he doesn't sell it, at least not through PriusChat! If he gets that heated by a fellow forum member, he shouldn't post on here.

Yes, some of the dealers are getting $30K for an 05 -usually fully loaded- with about 50K miles - WITH Stickers!

carpool and carpool stickers are a joke!! i commute from newport beach to anaheim on the 55 and 5 and there is VERY little difference between carpool lane and regular lane.

there may be a huge difference depending on your commute. as for me, stickers are worth a few pennies to me and i'd rather have a new prius for less $$.

I just don't understand why people in LA wouldn't want to drive a little north. I live on the Central Coast and you can get a new one with the same options for 24,000, I realize it doesn't have a sticker but it does have 0 miles.

Dude, the point you seem to be missing again and again is that this car has HOV stickers - car pool stickers! :frusty: You can't get them anymore here in California, they've issued all they are going to issue. People are paying more $ for vehicles with the stickers. The stickers allow a single occupant to drive in the carpool lanes all over CA (unless it's a toll road). Also, in some cities it allows you to park for free at the city meters.

That's why some people have no interest in buying a Prius from out of state - it won't get you into the carpool lane LEGALLY.
