Price is high, might want to lower under 10K, or wait till gas goes back up

if its $10K, that is a good deal. around here, they go for a LOT more. lucky to get it for $14 around here. then again, thats mostly dealer prices. not many private sales around here. guess we need to lose more high end jobs first.

problem is, we have lost a lot of jobs, but unlike most of the country, (with construction being the only exception and most of them guys werent driving Pri's to begin with) our job losses has been low end restaurant and service jobs. around here there is still plenty of money to support a basic living, but people are cutting back on going out

I bought it on a large Chrysler dealership, that was a out the door price came with 3months/3000 mile warranty and 1 year maintance (4 oil changes and tire rotations) however not sure i want them to touch my car.

There are many here for 10K I think it because they bought when the gas was 4 bucks a gallon and now it low but rising.....

great, as soon as i mention our job market is not so bad, several districts in the area announced significant teacher cutbacks... other than a small # (about 200) at Social Services, this is first job losses that had any real money behind it. now we have also had the major business chain failures and im sure their were management people that were making good money, but...

I am in Alabama-------Auburn,Alabama to be exact, which is near the Alabama/ Georgia state line, Columbus Georgia is the nearest bigger town (30 miles) , or Montgomery Alabama (55 miles).
Wish I was up there in Wisconsin..., I want to sell the Prius, and willing to negotiate, but its looking more and more like I will be keeping it a while longer.
Right now, I would go down to $13,400 and thats with a payoff of $14,900 today... I would pay $1500 off the payoff to sell.
My wife lost her job and I need to sell.:(
