2006 Prius Info

    Toyota Canada has updated their site.

    New Prices:

    Base - $31,280
    Pkg B - $35,360
    Pkg C - $38,710

    Foglights seemed to be removed from the packages. We still get a cassette player with our JBL audio system and MP3/WMA is available on all packages. Aux Input not available on base. Back up camera only available on Pkg C. Ours still say "Coloured Grille" rather than chrome but we do get a tyre pressure monitoring system.

    Judging by the photos on www.toyota.ca, apparently Canada does not get the HybridSD badge on the front fender that is featured in the photos of the US spec 2006 Prius.

    My suspicion is that Toyota Canada just carried over the same photos from 2005.

    The small print next to the photos at toyota.ca reads : 2005 model shown. And the title banner still reads Prius 2005.

    Wonder if they made another error on the site. I caught last year's error. They said it had a locking glovebox lol.
