Just got my 2009 Prius with option 5 including the DVD Navigation system. First, where is the DVD and how to you update it? My first impression with the navigation system is pretty poor when I compare it with Garman devices or Google Maps on Blackberry or iPhone. The system can't pick the quickest path and can't recalculate the route correctly if you are going the correct way. It still wants to route you back to it's route. The routes I tested this on were not new roads. It kept routing to to the Interstate which would have added 2 hours to the arrival time. Where is the best place the get more information on the Navigation system beyond the manual including hacks for computer experts? Jim A
Jim, Do a search on the Nav System. I have seen many many posts on the Nav system and hacks during the last 2 years, Hope This Helps.
