    Note from Danny:

Images removed per Toyota's request. I've been informed that the photos were obtained via illegal means and that is not in the spirit for which PriusChat was created. Toyota's official press images will be available in a little over 12 hours and I am pleased to announce that you'll be able to view the 2010 Prius reveal LIVE here on PriusChat via streaming video. We all appreciate the enthusiasm that the community is showing and hope that you'll join us at 11:30am EST tomorrow morning.

Just what I've been waiting to see, Thanks!

spwolf, the <"combination meter" mpg info is 3D, projected in front of the driver> you mentioned, is it in one of the pics in the center cluster or is it something totally different? I didn't see anything directly in front of the driver in the pics.

I really do like the look of the car both in and out. The back looks different than I thought it would, very much like ours now in a way. The interior i really like.
  4. spwolf
oh, its slightly 3D, projected by an inch... like in European Yaris. Nothing big, but thats why it looks in the photos as if it is going over A/C options...
  5. Paradox
Ah, gotchya, I see what you mean. That still is pretty cool, I'm really looking forward to seeing it in person.

Thanks again for the pics

I am at the airport on my way to Detroit. Seeing these tiny pics on the blackberry doesn't do justice.
  8. spwolf
yeah, LKA/Radar Cruise Control/Precrash, as predicted few months ago, based on new Avensis :)

lexus press site is getting more pics... more than 80 will be shown tomorrow :).

p.s. it should still have HUD, have no pics of that.

interior ones look nice, leather is very nice and it seems as if we will get soft dashboard too... going all out I see :)

Are the pics of EU or NA spec?
  12. spwolf
    NA... crazy...

Looking at closeups of interior, and this looks like expensive/lexus interior... sides of the trunk are carpeted now... Lets hope it wont be priced as Lexus :).

I will post more pics soon once i resize them and upload them.

The blue one is a base model... you can see hub caps and the lower end headlamps (halogen or HID) and it doesnt have the plasmacluster on the climate control screen.

The silver is higher end, navi, plasmacluster but weird they used the low end model to show the sunroof.

I still wanna see solar panels to confirm for sure we'll get em lol.

    Spwolf -

Thanks very much for the pics. Send more. I really like the interior layout (instruments, buttons, etc.) It looks very ergonomic.

Wow! Very nice! I like. :)

I was thinking the same thing. I'm glad to see that the Prius interior looks much better than the previous Prius interiors (not that the others were bad, but it's always nice to have better).

Now, I'm just hoping as much of what we see as possible will be standard on all models. :)

Enjoying the 10 new pics on your link spwolf, nice to finally see the interior high res.

I like the shot from the back with the hatch open and the seats down.

Is there a reason why Toyota suddenly changed its menu interface on the OEM navigation system to a more grainy/b&w/ugly grey on all of its models?
  18. abcdefgary
Oh, and is it me or does the rear look especially flat (unlike the current Prius)?
