Thanks Kumatae. I wired it up today as saw what you're referring to.
It only blinked once and then went off. I reset it twice and tried to reconfigure it based on the instructions but it didn't work. I'll try again. Luckily, my client isn't too worried about the SWC working at the moment as he is loving the rest of the system upgrade.

    Shell 8215 says thus.
Pin 6 - I grounded to the radio ground. I thought that this would be sufficient.
Pin 7 - Green/ orange from the ASWC
    Pin 8 - Black/ Green from ASWC

Yeah that should have done the job. Hmmm... After I pressed the reset button, I didn't have to do any configuring, it just did everything on its own. The default configuration is most useful in my opinion. Getting the ASWC and mounting the deck properly with minial gaps was by far the hardest part about this install. I could probably tear apart the dash in less than 3min flat and have the radio out in 5min. Hope you get it to work!

I hope that's it. I'll give it a go when I get the car back for lowering. The kit that was provided was straight forward and very easy to install with no gaps. Yes, it's a 2min tearout to get the HU out :D

    Hello,

I'm looking for a guide to remove the door trim to access the front speakers.

    Thank you :)

Has anyone replaced the 2012 HU and retained all of the steering wheel controls? If so ...., well how do I do this?

I did a search and couldn't find a definitive answer.

Which model do you have? Does it have the telephone controls in the wheel?

Its the Canadian "Base" model, which near as I can tell is somewhat equivalent to a III.

It has the telephone controls in the steering wheel on the left side, a touch screen, no navigation.

I'm quite certain its the same HU as the US cars, touch screen, no navigation.

    I'll start a new thread.
