I noticed a couple small descriptive changes:

2014 - Enhanced Advanced Technology Partial Zero Emission Vehicle (AT-PZEV)
2015 - TZEV (Transitional Zero Emission Vehicle) or Tier 2/Bin

    2014 - 3165 lbs.
    2015 - 3194 lbs. (base) 3216 lbs. (advanced)

Well the extra weight isn't due to a spare being added.

I inquired with @Prius Team and Erica let me know that AT-PZEV and TZEV are the same, and she is checking on the slight weight difference. I'll let you all know as soon as I hear again from them.

@Prius Team let me know that the weight change is "due to reinforcements that were added to the vehicle."

Is this unique to the PiP, or did the standard hatchback see a similar weight gain and reinforcements?

A comparison between the 14/15 brochures indicate no weight gain for non PIP models.
