I just bought a new 2015 Prius two today for $19,480. It has a set of Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max tires on it. My wife has a 2011 Prius two with 150 k on it now, she is wanting to get the 2016 when it comes out.

Congarts. I paid 22K for persona back in July.I feel the tires of Gen3,level2 is a little better in terms of noise. Persona comes with the low profile tires, those are premium ,expensive, tires, but I feel the bumps in the road, and the noise when traveling at 75 miles speed on freeways.

What pressures? I used to raise our 17's up to around 40 psi, found the ride too rough. Now I'll set them to around 34 all around, just higher than spec. Doesn't seem to impact mpg much.

Just the default spec pressure.I didn't mess around with the numbers. Are you saying that setting to 34 all around will give a smoother ride? MPG wise I don't get much, max 42-44.

No, any raise will be a little tougher. Thanks for clarifying.

Congrats! My Prius Four also has the Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max tires on it, and I'm happy with their performance (for another month, until I buy some snow tires!)

hey what is the scheduled maintenance. A sticker on windshield that say take in at 5k miles. I do all my oil changes after the twp or three free ones. Are oil changes still every 10k miles.? I also have 2011, been rotating tires and oil change every 10k miles. Just wandered if it has changed. I have 150k on 2011. Also wandering about should I get an extended warranty. Not had a minutes trouble out of 2011 and it has 150k on it.

I've never bought extended warranties. In the long run you can save money by just paying for repairs as you go. Yes, there is always the small chance of something expensive going wrong, but the Prius is very reliable.

Put the money you would spend for an extended warranty into a savings account for repairs.

    Good luck.

    Cheers!

I just took my 2015 Prius for 5k Miles service to Toyota. All they do at 5K is inspect stuffs, rotate tires, put air pressure, and fill the wiper water. Less than 30 mins you will be in or out. 10 K is when they actually change the oil.

Probably just a generic sticker they use. Have a read through your Warranty and Maintenance Booklet.

Does your dealer still put a reminder on your windshield with a 6,000km interval? Mine still does, 15 years after TCI extended the interval.

Congrats and welcome. I love my 2015 too! Only has about 2,500 miles on it. Mine came with Yokohama Avids. But now I replaced with something different.. along with many other parts from BMW, Scion, Subaru, and Lexus!! See my sig for stuff I did to my brand new car! Post pics of yours too--we would love to see it!
Here's mine so you can get some ideas for stuff to do to it if you wanted.

My favorite modification is ripping open the headlights and installing Genuine Lexus parts inside along w/ all the electronics and stuff.

I just took my Persona Enzo in for the 10K oil change. I'll be doing my own after the free ones are all used up!

I'm doing all my own basic maintenance, just visit the dealer's service department for warning lights and recalls. No stickers for me.

    What's TCI by the way?
