Featured 2016 Prius Super Bowl Commercial: "The Longest Chase" Prius4

    Very entertaining and well-done commercial by Toyota's @Prius Team that aired during the Super Bowl tonight. Great to finally see a Prius ad capture the positive aspects of the car while mixing humor and entertainment.



    Toyota later at the conclusion of the game posted a follow-up commercial, with the police unveiling their secret weapon to stop the Prius:

    Yes it was the best ad of the game. Thank God it was not the nerdy ad that was shown as being the ad to be released.

    Great commercial, but I think the one they used needs service -- it didn't beep in reverse.

    I think this was a really great commercial. I loved the "how hard is it to catch a Prius?" And my wife thought the driver was funny.

    I would have enjoyed it for just about any car but that it was extolling the Prius while simultaneously poking fun at common conceptions is well played.

    toyota must have hired vdubs advertising agency, since they had nothing else to do.merged.looks like mini is trying to overcome the same image problem.

    I looked up late and missed the bank robbery setup. So my first thought was a little too busy. But from the start, loved it.

    There is a theory of seven things can be remembered. The other commercials used 4-5 which helps their message stick. But we're Prius people ... all above average.

    They just showed a sequel to the bank robber ad with the robbers being chased by a Prius police car.

    The "edgy" Prius comedic commercial with the hipster was mildly amusing in parts but overall I'd give it a thumbs down. Did it ever get air time? The chase one was better but somehow didn't turn my crank as much as it did for you guys.

    I kinda like the 2014 Prius commercial "Hum" better. Ironically, it's from the same ad agency as the edgy one, Saatchi and Saatchi. Is the Chase one also Saatchi and Saatchi?
