It's Canadian money, and they don't have the same "packages"... there is a list of the options on the vehicle.

    So... it's a low-mileage Prius. Someone will bid on/buy it, I'm sure.

Edit: It's a Canadian Prius. Have you seen the price of a Prius in Canada?

I paid just under 40k after everything (incl. rebate) for the B package. The highest is C which has the addition of navigation. I'll still be paying off this baby until 2010 :(

What does that have to do with anything. The Canadian dollar is at par with the US dollar, in case you hadn't noticed, thanks to the idiot shrub. When Bush took office, it took $1.50 Canadian to buy one US dollar.

If you travel internationally it's painfully obvious how the dollar has declined against every major foreign currency.

If you look at my edit, you'll see that I said, "It's a canadian Prius"... cuz they cost more in Canada (they shouldn't, but that really isn't the discussion)

    It's Canadian money,

Right now $30,800 US is about $30,000 Canadian

and they don't have the same "packages"... there is a list of the options on the vehicle.

OK, didn't realize that. They don't mention touring, HID lights , nav, or JBL, so I assumed it wasn't top of the line.

    So... it's a low-mileage Prius. Someone will bid on/buy it, I'm sure.

I don't doubt that, but the price seems a bit high.

Edit: It's a Canadian Prius. Have you seen the price of a Prius in Canada?

I have not. Couldn't they save about $5-10k just by shopping south of the boarder? That's more than enough to have a mechanic add the daytime running lights.

yes you can buy south of the border.

That doesn't change the fact that the price of the Prius up here (for that year that's on ebay) is expensive!!

It's $31,280 for a "base" Prius. The Premium Package adds JBL, SKS, side/side curtain airbags, foglights, VSC, Homelink, Auto-Dimming Mirror, Alarm, Bluetooth for $35k. For $38k, you add nav and backup camera

Cargo net, mudguards, wheel locks and carpet mats are standard in Canada

We don't get HIDs or Leather.
