I've been using 42/40 front/rear pressures on my '07 since new...7800 miles. Has anyone noticed if this causes accelerated wear in the tread center over the life of the tire? Original Integrity's.

No, it should reduce wear significantly.

I run about 42/40 and have over 38,000 on the original Goodyear OEMS, still 1/3 to 1/2 tread and it appears evenly worn. I do 99% highway driving. I only rotate front to back every 10K or so.

Thanks...I'll find something else to worry about.

Been at 42/40 for 114K miles now..
    Have 76K on my hydroedges..
And you know what.. it is the edges of the tire that are wearing the fastest..
Probably because of to many high speed turns..lol

    Anyway.. no problem...
