5,000 Members! March a great month for PriusChat!

    March was quite a month for Prius owners and PriusChat! Not only was it
    Toyota\'s highest selling month for the Prius, thanks in part to articles in <span style=\'color:blue\'>Wired Magazine     it was also PriusChat's busiest month since we started in November of 2003.

    Other than hitting 5,000 members last month, here are a few more statistics worth noting:

    Congrats LisaMarli. Be sure to join the San Francisco Bay Area Club. At the top of your screen (usergroups) on the next page select the goup and then join. You can view the group under (forums) to the left.. scroll to the bottom. We should be having a meeting sometime soon.

    We both live in San Jose :) if you purchased yours in San Jose, you are elegable for free city parking. :)

    Um, yeah, that's a safe bet :) I remember when we hit 100 members I was shocked, then we hit 1,000 and I thought we had peaked.

    Now I'm hoping for 7,500 members by the end of the year! Thanks to everyone for their effort in spreading PriusChat around the globe. Please remember that you all are the ones who provide the great content on this site.

    Thank you Danny for putting together such a wonderful resource, making it easy to use, and having fun with us through it all. I wouldn't still be coming here if I didn't enjoy this site almost as much as I enjoy the car! ;)

    speaking off... Danny.. you need to sale business cards.. make a contract with a company. I can't print them off anymore :( official business cards would be really cool. I can't even design them anymore because this laptop doesn't have the programs i need and i lost the previous templates when my old pc died on me. :(.. stupid windows.

    Congrats Danny! seems like only yesterday when i came across PC and became hooked! this site really did help me.. especially during the dreaded wait period... made the wait more bearable (though at times it was torture seeing others getting their cars). Thanks for keeping this site organized and in tip-top shape! Now that gas prices have skyrocketed again i'm sure PC will be busier than ever.

    Danny, congratulations. You deserve a very large trophy for this achievement (handed over by Miss South Carolina in a bathing suit. :) )

    While the increasing popularity of the Prius has gotten people to visit the site, your outstanding stewardship of this site -- combined with all the hard work you and the moderators have put into the dicussions -- have gotten people to sign up, and stay with the PriusChat for the long haul.

    And given how well Toyota builds car, and their average lifetime -- that's a long haul!!
