    Hi everybody,

I just traded in my 1990 Nissan Black Maixma that got 20-22 mpg for a 2009 Black:eek: (don't ask why) Prius package #2:cheer2:. What a difference in a ride. So far I am doing alright. Glad to find this forum.

Welcome! I had two Maximas and an Altima prior to the Prius, so I think I can understand some of the changes you'll experience. My Maximas included the two more recent versions than what you've driven, so my later model Altima may be more similar in size. I was absolutely sold on Nissan motors -- loved the V-6 in those Maximas!

The Prius will not ride like your Maxima, and the Package #2 will not have the amenities of even the 1990 Maxima, but I guarantee you'll be thrilled with your choice in an automobile. You're a step up in techy gizmos, and you have just a little bit of a boost in MPGs!

Let us know how you adjust to the change.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I did have a wild ride home last night as it was really windy here on the West Coast and of course my heavier 90 Maxima would have handled it real well. I felt the wind alot more on the Prius:eek: but then it is a lighter car but it held strong and drove me home!:D

Why not ask why? (You can't leave a rhetorical hook like that lying around and not expect someone to bite.)

Richard- black with a package #2 was all they had left so I got it. At least I don't see many black ones around and I already know what a pain black can be to keep up so no big surprizes there.
