Those illuminated door sills are just awesome.
I'd like to see the chrome rocker panels installed in real life, not sure how I think those would look.

This has already been covered, but please note, the ipod interface only applies to the (non-nav) model II. It is not the same as the USB interface coming in Sept.

Could you please elaborate? I am thinking of buying the II with the interface. What would be the difference with the USB interface in September?

I don't have enough info yet, although it ought to be possible to find out now, since the ipod interface has been around for awhile now, and the USB interface is on the new 2010 Camry. Maybe someone else knows. They both connect to the bottom of the ipod, allow for both charging and connectivity, and allow for some control over the ipod, such as skipping tracks, etc. The listed accessory gets installed in the glove box, and is incompatible with satellite radio, according to the website. Someone else has said the USB will be located beneath the shifter. It will probably be more flexible, and I suspect allow more sophisticated control over the ipod and playlists, etc.

Thank you. What you described for the current setup is enough for me. The $300 price tag is a little steep! I will probably go for it anyway.

FYI, just corrected the location from trunk to glove box. It must be my bedtime. ;)

I thought they were already up?? I remember Paradox talking about them.

Yeah those illuminated door sills are cool. They're standard on the Technology Package and Touring Package in Canada.

If you have to ask, they are too expensive for you! I like them, but, am leaning toward the chrome ones from Gen2. I think the illuminated ones may be a bit on the pimp side of life.... What do others think?

Pimp or not, the blue sills will look tight with Blizzard Pearl ;) I plan on buying them once PC Store sells them and doing the install myself (instructions aren't too difficult).

The Illuminated door sills are listd as a Port Installed Options at $359. The parts alone were about 120 lower (approximately). I know that if dealer installed, they could charge you for 1.5 to 2 hour of labor, so it could get more expensive.

I also saw the directions for install, and while I also thought that it was not too difficult to do, I know that I should get them done for me, or it will not likely get done. Also, my wife would probably not be thrilled if I 'spring for the bling', so instead, I asked Jabber to have them installed before I take delivery. (Don't tell my wife) ;-)

PPO cost is $359. Dealer parts only price is $269. Labor is being estimated right now at 1.5-2 hours as the toyota . At 90 bucks an hour, you can guess which one is cheaper. If you want them, you probably want to have them done at port.

Call him and tell him to add option "G4" at the port. That is the simple way of explaining it to him if he knows about PPO items.

Does anybody know the pricing for the lower rocker moldings (chrome)? I think they'd look great on a Blizzard Pearl!

No pricing or availability on the chrome rocker moldings. Nothing officially from Toyota yet.

I've started adding 2010 Accessories to the PriusChat Shop:

2010 Prius Accessories : PriusChat Shop

I'll have body side moldings up tonight. No photos yet, but the manufacturer is sending me a set so that I can do an install on my car. Bumper cover will hopefully be up by next week.

I have a Prius IV with the Moonroof and Nav Package coming.
Are The Mud Guards Included? I don't see them as an option anyplace?
    Thanks
