Accident on I-5 in Marysville

    was watching the news and saw the aftermath of an accident. a truck and camper trailer was headed south on I-5 crossed over into the northbound lanes and hit 3 cars headon. one was a silver Prius. although the car was mangled, all passengers in the Prius survived according to preliminary reports on the news. A Ford Tarus was also involved and 2 people died in that vehicle.

    I-5 northbound is expected to be closed until 8 pm tonight

    The Prius was hit broadside on drivers side and badly mangled. The side airbags deployed which probably accounts for the passengers survival.
