Latest fillup: 488.5 miles, took 8.44 gallons after the third click. 57.8 MPG. Consumption screen said 61 MPG. If I had gone by the first click, it would've been 7.82 gallons and 62.4 MPG.

    EV ratio screen:
    105 miles EV, 382 miles HV, (21% / 79%)
    33Kwh used, 7 gallons used,
    2.8 gallons saved

The rounding errors are really starting to annoy me...

I'm not that familiar with the Fuelly site but if you hit the "Show All" link I believe they all come back...:(

First fill up: 20 days until I visited a gas pump!
568 miles, 8.2 gallons (still one bar left), screen said 71 MPG, calculated 69.2 MPG.
Drive on mostly electric to work but have to use gas on the way home-

but just got the word they approved 3 EV chargers for work...YEAH! The 3 of us PIP owners would have been happy with just electrical outlets....(and yes all through Dianne! Thanks Dianne)

Thanks, but I tried that.

Others Pips are still in there somewhere as trackyside comes up if I go to
PiP (Toyota Prius Plug-in) | Fuelly

I did notice that prius plugin in now a browsable catagory so maybe when that change happened people were removed from the list (at least until their next fillup since trackyside is still in the system )

Yeah, that is odd. Is 3 some kind of magic fill-up number? Once Dev had 3, then everyone else was removed from the list? Weird..

Do you have your EV Driving display info with kwh, EV%, HV% for this fillup?

You have the wrong date for the 2nd fillup. It should be the 20th, not the 26th. And yes, that was my third fillup (488.5 & 8.44 gallons).

My commute is just over 31 miles each way of mostly only mild incline/decline. I did make one trip over the summit between Los Gatos and Santa Cruz which dropped my average quite a bit but even with that, I've traveled over 500 miles so far at 102 MPG and still showing 1/2 tank. I'm going for the 1000 mark! With my 2006, I averaged 58 and had one tank with well over 600 miles as high as 65. Stay tuned! I'll let you all know, once I need to fill up.

That is outstanding. I assume you are driving at the speed limits ?

That is an outstanding result given that you have 31 miles in between charging opportunities. This seems markedly better than what others have been reporting. What do you think you are doing differently?

First fillup was a bit uncertain, since I wasn't sure if those initial miles were without any EV. It certainly looked like it though. The odometer was at 685 miles. 8.504 gallons were pumped in. 60 kWh was indicated on the screen.

    79.0 MPG was shown.

    80.6 MPG was calculated.

I filled up for the first time on 3/29:

    Total Miles: 600.4
    Pump Gallons: 8.248
    Cost: $34.47
    Calculated MPG: 72.51
    Displayed MPG: 75
    Ave Speed: 27

    EV Driving Display

    kWh: 50
    Gallons: 7
    Gallons Saved: 4.1
    EV%: 32%
    EV Miles: 193
    HV%: 68%
    HV Miles: 407

    Calculated:

    EV Miles/kWh: 3.86
    EV kWh/100m: 25.91

    HV Calculated MPG: 58.14

    I love my second Prius!:)

Most of the time I am doing the speed limit. Occasionally hitting 70 but trying not to. I figure that going 70 vs 65 over 31 miles only saves me 2-3 minutes but hits the milage pretty hard. I also don't have my stickers yet though so in the evening commute, I can be doing far less than the speed limit. I'm taking full advantage of EV during those times. I also don't drive it like a race car - The track is for doing that! On the street, I've become a fairly tame driver, again knowing that the speed difference realy isn't worth it unless you are traveling long distances.

My philosophy exactly, it is good to know what sort of mileage I will be getting. :cheer2:

John, Did you record your charged kWh and the EV Display Gallons and Saved Gallons?

    ALL PIP Owners,

If you post your Date, Odometer, Actual Gallons, HSI Display and EV Display info for every Tank fillup, I'll add the info to a table and post it for comparison.
