Adding RS3200 Plus Security System to '10 Prius III?

    What disadvantages/advantages are there to adding the RS3200 Plus Security System to a 2010 Prius III.

    Is this a dealor installed option or is it done at the port?

    What would be a fair price to pay for this option?

    I've seen instructions for the install, but can't say if that would differentiate between dealer vs. port. It does require a scan tool to enable specific settings.

    You mean it's not standard on all package levels?
    I did not know that. My guess was that only the glass sensor was an option.

    Yea, hill, I was slightly disappointed in that too, but it's a way to keep costs down and/or add additional profit at the dealer level.

    The VIP RS3200Plus Security system is supposed to be $359 installed if ordered with the car and installed at the port. If it's done at the dealer word is it will cost more...
