I'm so stupid don't know how to adjust them. Mine is showing Feb (couldn't adjust) 14. 2011 (neither this one). I tried to look in the manual but still have no idea how and don't want to call the dealer they might laugh at me. Can anyone show me how?
the same button on the steering wheel you use to go through menus, go to the setup menu, then pres and hold disp under the set clock menu, and then adjust using trip and disp buttons til you reach the date needed.
The dealer was supposed to set the clock for you. My dealer didn't either. You might want to check your tire pressures too, as adjusting them is also part of the pre-delivery inspection. My tires were inflated over 50 psi and that made the ride harsh. Tom
I did but that's not the problem. I couldn't adjust the Month and Year: how to move it to the Month or Year to adjust? I tried Disp and Trip but they just increase or decrease the date. When I got the date, 14, I couldn't move it but get back to previous screen after 5 seconds.
you really have to change the date... it's stupid long process.. keep going up... hold.. and wait for a few minutes until it's the right date... yes.. you have to go thru every single day..
Why do I have to do that????? From Feb 2011 to Jun 2012 is 16 months long. Even a $5 digital watch has individual adjustment for Day, Month, Year, ... I'm speechless.
why? because you have to.. why are you asking me? i didn't design the car... every other Prius I know.. you have to do the same thing too.
No, I didn't mean you. Just so surprised in a car with alot of tech like PC didn't have the feature to adjust Dates separately.
well.. you only really need to change it once... so whatever. even the higher-tech genIII prius does the same thing.
