    Now that could work a Li-on battery company buying a phev co. it could work lets hope so and price of the batts get reasonable.

    Interesting move... Isn't a123 system the one working with GM on the Volt?

    I hope this is good news. At least hymotion should get access to cheaper batteries... and a123 some interesting technology

    Maybe they were too close in offering plug-in conversions to the market so were taken out and redirected toward GM's stuff.
