    Should have maybe compared with a 2-door Golf TDI. Don't get much closer to a diesel GTI than that.

    Seems like the Jetta TDI is the enemy of all eco-hybrids. They've compared it to everything and claim it's better than everything else. While I admit I do like the design of the Jetta (the new one even more.. I didn't care for the last gen's round taillights). If I wanted a sporty diesel, I'd save my pennies for the pricier but imo, better 335d.
