    I am proud to announce the launch of HiHyChat.com, a sister site to PriusChat devoted to the all new Toyota Highlander Hybrid. HiHy is the nickname for the Highlander Hybrid, and HiHyChat.com will serve as the home for HiHy news, downloads, pictures, in-depth information, and of course, discussion.

    Just as hybrids are changing the landscape of the automobile industry, PriusChat & HiHyChat are attempting to change the traditional landscape of enthusiast forums. I encourage everyone to check the site out and join in the discussion about the new Highlander Hybrid.

    With any luck it will be as successful as PriusChat has been so far!

    I hope it doesn't cut in on the bandwidth/processing resource for this site. This site, as great as it is, is slow.

    No, those speed issues have much more to do with the mysql tables than the actual server itself. Look at how fast HiHyChat is even while we have 50+ people here on PriusChat - 0.8025sec page creation time.

    Aw come on Tony! I can't help it my wife loves her 99 4x4 Tahoe so much, :cry:


    I was wondering, Danny, if any body had thought about a sister site. Glad you thought about it. I will be sure to check it out and keep my presence around there too, :wink: I'm sure nobody will mind.

    Just registered on HIHY, Danny. Hope it takes off and is as popular as Priuschat is here, :wink: Also, while looking over new info on TIS Monday morning, I found that the NCF for the HIHY is already out for us techs. Been at school last 2 days so I will have to check it out tomorrow.

    -see what you've started! Every Tom Dick and Harry will want a sister now!
    Also, does this mean Priuschat is a "Brother" site or another girl Sister........gheeeez i'm confused......

    I looked up sister and found couple defs.....

    1. Sister
    A Sibling of the Female sex, whom's goal is to create complete hell for the older sibling.
    Be nice to your sister.

    2. Sister
    Somebody who has the same mother or father as you, can be half, whole, or annoying. Determined to be just like you, or bother you.
    Also any female who is acting like a sister.

    Tried to register at the HiHy site but something happened.
    Never got the email.
    It now says that it cannot find me but it also says my email address is registered.
    Would you please reset so I can register.
    Our Prius is doing fine at 45-48 mpg in the suburbs.
    The HiHy is due the end of July

    we need the 400h site. er.. my parents need it. a lot of us prius owners are very benificial to all three sites ( 400h being a potential ) my parents are getting a 400h. the waiting list for most dealerships around here ( only 4 or 5 in the S.F. Bay Area ) is close to or over 200 people. 12 - 24 being received every month. i could tell people all i want about the 400h.. but it's better if they read it. they won't get as bored of me talking :) lol
