I am picking up my new blue Prius v three in a day or two. Very excited. I have had a Ford Hybrid Escape since 2005 and was disappointed they discontinued that. But I like the v (and the blue color). The test drive was a smooth ride and any concerns about acceleration were unfounded when I hit the highway. Anyway, look forward to keeping up on things with this forum, which already has been of some help.
I need to learn some of the controls - like monitoring mileage over a trip (taking a big one in a few weeks), but I've already gotten the overall average mpg from around 25 (when I picked it up; it has about 50 miles on it) to already near 40. Love the Eco drive.
Congratulations on your purchase! We traded in a Honda Pilot for our v and feel like we still have plenty of cargo space. You're going to be very happy with the car!
