    Not interesting at all IMO, pure BS, and has been debunked by many people. I can't believe IEEE Spectrum even considered publishing this.

    EVs are very green to manufacture? I really doubt that very much. The jury is still out on the environment impact EVs will have at the end of their life.

    Read the comments on that site, and other forums, you'll understand what I'm trying to say.

    I'm not saying that EVs are green to manufacture, I'm saying that he is ignoring MANY facts, to the point it feels like he has an agenda which isn't about the actual truth/facts.

    I'm not trying to bash you or this post, my response is about the content of that 'article'.

    DB- I think there is already a thread on this topic:

    IMHO Congress never said EV was cleaner (which was the mistake Congress orginally made on ethanol/oxygenates). Congress just said that we need alternates to dino gasoline, including EV and more biofuels. From that point on its a political debate based on if you agree with that or not. Meanwhile we have embarked national programs in these areas.
