Hi all. Any news on the rain guards from Weathertech (or other mfg's for that matter) for the Prius v?? Very anxious. Any time-lines??
Here's the response from the Weather Tech rep... Thank you for your interest in MacNeil Automotive, The 2012 Toyota Prius v has yet to be approved by our engineer department. The 2012 model has changed and we do have to recreate new parts for the Prius v. We are expecting to get the approval in two months or so. At that time we will post on our website the products for the 2012 Toyota Prius. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact our customer service at: 800.441.6287 and we'll be more than happy to help. Best Regards! Stephen Sutor MacNeil Automotive Products Ltd.
Thanks for the update, I too sent them an email.. not reply yet. So the window rain gauards Feb 7, 1012 +2 months = March/ April 2012. Yes right in the middle of our Texas rainy season.
I called weather tech 2 days ago and was told 4-6 weeks for the digital fit mats for both the 2012 Prius and the 2012 Prius v. I hope they were not blowing smoke up my skirt
I went to www. weathertech. com but was unable to enter Toyota 2012 Prius v in their vehicle selection drop down boxes. They only had Prius for 2012. So I'm still waiting to see weathertech's Prius v (wagon) merchandise.
I emailed about a month ago and they responded that they were working on 2012 vehicles but had no time frame. I've seen the website, it aint there.
I called Weathertech and placed my order for the cargo liner this past Wednesday and it will arrive Monday. My customer service rep is Patty Northrop 800-441-6287 x 482. I have had to leave vm a few times if she is busy but she gets back to me within a day usually.
Checkout "Husky" all weather mats and cargo liners.s I have the floormats and they fit like a glove. The cargo mat is on it's way. They are every bit as good as WeatherTech IHMO.
Yes -Prius v - I had same concerns since I did not see it listed on their web page so I called to confirm the cargo for the v was available. I had had Patty send me a color sample of the grey color before I got my Prius v - part of the reason I chose dark grey interior instead of misty grey.
+1 I just received my Husky "WeatherBeater" cargo liner and floor mats for my Prius v. I concur with Flyman's assessment; they do fit like a glove. I've purchased Weathertech products for my vehicles for the past 17 years; however I decided to give Husky products a try this time and I'm not disappointed!
Weather tech cargo liner arrived today and it was for sedan not v (wagon). Called weather tech and they emailed me return label. Back it goes and wait 4-6 weeks aargh.
I have tried for several months I have no luck I have called several Manufactures and they told me they will be out in Feb 2102 then March, and so on. No Luck. I had left my Name with several Co.'s and they said they will Notify me when they are out. Also beware of a Few web Sites that say other Models of the Prius will work Forget It!!! I've Tryed. I will Post when I hear of any. Sullie
I guess it's expected to happen when you buy a brand new model of car. I got the husky cargo mat as well and the Toyota all weather mats. Both work well enough.
I bought some great mats from Husky and am quite happy with them. They are very similar to the proposed Weathertechs and the same guessed price.
Hello All, I am new to this forum and just got my Prius III this past Saturday. I found weather guards on this site Priusaccessory dot com for the 2012 prius. Hope this helps, Dave
