    Hi All;
    In reading the 2010's Owners Manual, I ran across an interesting statement.
    "After the 12 Volt Battery has discharged, or has been changed/removed, the gasoline engine may not stop, even if the vehicle is running on the Hybrid Battery (Traction Battery). If this continues for a few days, contact your Toyota dealer."
    (on pg. 30, bottom paragraph)
    I've read many posts on the death of the 12 Volt battery, and the resulting problems, but I haven't read of anyone complaining of the engine refusing to stop running, even while operating on the Traction Battery.
    Anyone ever have this happen in their Gen2?

    I've had Check Engine Lights (CEL's) as a result of installing an undercharged battery. This does make sense though as the DC to DC converter needs to charge the 12V battery if charge is low, and it's probably "easier" to get that energy from the ICE vs. draining the traction battery.
