Hi and welcome!!
DC region has very large population of Prii but less than expected number of Prii service shops other than dealers. Somewhere there is a list of USA Prii expert shops and think there is one in B'more, another guy found a good place in Ashburn VA area. This is where you'd go if you needed a traction battery or something big like that.
As far as dealer service I go to Miller in Manassass, VA and generally happy with them.

hmmm. I'm on the MD side... anything around Rockville? Any groups of Prii owners?

hey bdifr, I'm in Mont Cty too..

Centreville Va over here... I am working to try to get a NOVA meet and greet happening with fellow DMV Prii drivers looking at the weekend of May31st to June2nd time frame. Would anyone be interested in attending such an event? I see all these west coast meet ups and nothing here on the east coast. Well I want to change that! Who's with me? There is a sticky with this as its title in the forums, we can discuss this all there. if in the next mounth I can garner enough interest, I will try to get a local dealer involved for raffles or promotions. PM me if interested in something like this or are interested in meeting and socializing with fellow Prii drivers.

I'm interested, count me in for those dates. I work in College Park, MD and live in Alexandria, VA. I bought the Prius for that commute and interested in meeting up with other DC commuters.

I am open to different dates if I can get interested parties

However, note that another member is also suggesting those same dates. Perhaps you should go ahead and combine efforts and see what pops out.

wjtracy, when are you available? I'd like other posters from the area to join too if they can. Perhaps we can do a poll or something by PM? Basically I'm free any weekend after/including June 9, except the biggies- July 4, etc

Ok so we have three parties down for the weekend june 7-9? and with JIMN coming down the 1st weekend in june there is also three parties interested in that date. no problem with a split weekend meet up I am free both of those.

I have often wanted to post fliers on the Prii I see on my neighbor hood watch route, Inviting the drivers to such an event, my small lil corner has a bunch of them there prii. Maybe this is my opportunity to do such a thing.

June 9/10 (weekend ) is fine with me.

A Washington DC Metro Area Prius Meet sounds great. Count me in. Timing wise, I'm flexible...the weekend of June 8-10th sounds fine. If its just a small group, we could just get together at a coffee shop or at a fast food place. A larger meeting would need a larger parking lot that normally is used by a Big box store, shopping center, stadium, or local park.. If it is a park... we could have a picnic, too? Having something to drink and munch on is always a plus.

If there's critical mass for a meeting then the most important byproduct from such an event would be a email/phone/mailing list of the Washington DC Metro Area prius owners/drivers.

I'm game for a meet. Im going to be in OC from 5/14-5/22 for Crusin OC, and i will be in Carlisle for all ford nationals 6/1 - 6/3, I've also got some track days coming up but can try to squeeze this in. Letme know if and when.

I am down for meeting in a park or someplace, with a hyper milers drive to maybe a sonic or car hop of some sort. We all live in the DC area, aren't you tired of seeing Sonic adds and not having a sonic around? There is one in Wincherster. The Smart club of DC went to that, they had 30 or so people, I know cuz my father belongs,Facepalm...
