Anyone receive an '09 yet??

For those of you who have gotten their Prius within the last few days, was it an '08 or '09?

We're slated for our Prius at the end of this month and they say it's supposed to be an '09.

Not in the US. Current schedule, should there be no delays, is 9/16 for port arrival. Expect 9/20 or so before hitting dealer lots.

I was told early Sept if the 08 lines had shutdown on time. Waiting till sept 20th will kill me

FWIW - My Pkg #2 is due the last week of Aug and its an 08.

08 picked up today. Ordered on May 28th.

Heard from my dealer this week that my #3 will be an '08 and will come in the 15th of September...

I'm agnostic on which year I get, but it would be good to know if there will be an MSRP jump that I'm not planning for!

I've heard 09's will be the same as 08's. Maybe they will bring out one new color. I'll bet the 09's will show on Toyota.com in first couple weeks of September. My salesman told me they don't even know the pricing of the 09.

Not surprising as dealers are idiots and are always the last to know. Toyota, weeks ago, formally announced '09 pricing. It's already up on edmunds.com.

'09 pricing is $500 more than '08 pricing across all 3 trims.

Picked mine up 8/8/08. It's an 08

I'm told to expect mine in October which would make it an '09. According to the dealer, it should be exactly the same as an '08.

For what it's worth, the Sales Rep at Capitol Toyota seemed knowledgeble (or at least confident) about Prii.

The salesman hinted of a 5 to $900 price increase, said they'll honor the current price quote. If the car comes in as 2009 model, I expect the 09, +$500 price increase in the finance dept.

When I ordered mine July 25th they said 6-8 weeks and
it would be 2009 because the west region was sold out of
2008's though the east region still had some 2008's.
It will have the $500 price increase. Just MSRP.

If you mean sold out as in none on lots, then that is true, but it will also be true for 2009. Dealers get two allocations a month. They are still getting 08's whether they're on the west coast or east coast.

Now if a dealer meant to tell you they aren't getting anymore Prius's until 2009, then they're fibbing. If what they really mean is that the rest of their 2008's are spoken for and if you get on a list, it will be a 2009 because of how long your wait will be, then that correct.

Deposited $500 2 weeks ago, will be getting an 09 Magnetic Gray. Signed papers today and will be getting it about a week or so. Have vin# also.

The dealer I bought mine from SAID they received 10 Prii a month.

I will in about 30m. Will be heading to the dealer shortly to pick up the 09 Magnetic Grey Touring. Hope everything is in perfect condition.

If I'm reading things correctly that will be the first 09 I heard of arriving. I hope they meant an 09 car, not 09 pricing (plus $500). Keep us posted and give a report.
