I assume the Techinfo site is just plain old web and pdf. I can't see why it wouldn't work with Safari or Firefox.

But I don't want to risk $10 just to find out it won't work. Has anyone used a Mac for Techinfo?

I down loaded the owners manual before I got my car. Back in the bad old days of several months wait that was one way of maintaining sanity. I had no problems they are pdf files. I thing the dealers use Windoz boxes but they have something more than we appear to get to. That is based on watching IFixem look something up one day. It was a more complex interface and search system than I saw. Yes you can download the manuals.

Thanks. I couldn't see any reason for it not to work.

Worked for me. I can't remember if I used OmniWeb, Safari, or Firefox though. Probably OmniWeb.

I am sure that I used Safari. I use the others only when Safari wont work and that is less and less often.

I had trouble with safari and firefox -- even with the stupid bells
and whistles turned on. Eventually I gave up and backended a
windoze/IE box through a logging proxy so I could grab the file
URLs and time-dependent cookies, after which I could "wget" large
chunks of the stuff in bulk. But it was a pain in the nice person, and if
you look around you'll find my rant about it.
