Are Tires Nitrogen-Filled?

    Anyone who has really looked into it "really knows"........just like it is with most things.

    Air is about 70% nitrogen already.
    The real advantage to "pure" nitrogen is that it contains almost no water vapor.
    You could get similar results from super dry "normal" air.

    ....main benefit N2 leaks more slowly thru the tire rubber (Consumer Reports tested and agreed it leaks more slowly but said it still leaks so it does not matter much since you still have to check pressure and refill when necessary, and it would not make sense to pay extra for it). But I think its a nice idea to start out with N2 when the tires are new as per Costco.
